At 42 years young, I find myself at the beginning (or middle) of a mid-life crisis. The past 12 years have been the most settled of my adult life, living in the same city in Northern Australia, living in a house (!), and finding a niche business to own and operate. Travelling with BF (nice to have a travel partner for the first time) during his annual leave allocations (we have no children by choice). Together we have been to Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Brunei, Holland, Czech, Switzerland, Spain, New Zealand, South Pacific, USA, Hawaii, Canada, Bali and many Australian destinations in the last 7 years. Always passing quickly through these countries for a taste, and always discovering we want to go back to all of them (!) for further explorations, plus those countries on my extensive list we haven’t got to yet.
So going back to my mid-life crisis – I have thrown in my business and plan to cease trading as at 28th February 2012. Not having a plan of action didn’t even cross my mind at the time so I made the decision to document this certain part of my life for research purposes. My interests, hobbies and conversion to a simpler lifestyle will feature regularly, sharing tips and ideas I learn along the way.
I have no idea what is going to happen…
